Benefits for Guardians of Orphans

A guardian of one child is entitled to a fixed monthly benefit, consisting of a basic amount of 8,667.75  ₪
For each additional orphan, an increment of 24% of the basic benefit will be provided – 2,079.78  ₪.

An orphan aged 18 to 21, who manages an independent household and does not live with the guardian, is defined as an "independent orphan." This means the orphans will receive the full benefit directly.

In the case where an orphan comes of legal age, qualifies as an "independent orphan," and other orphans remain under the guardian's care, the guardian will receive the basic benefit of 8,667.75  ₪, and the increment for the child remaining under their care. 

For each orphan under the guardian's care, an increment (gross up) of 569  ₪ will be paid.
