Fixed monthly benefits

The monthly benefits are automatically transferred to every orphan:

  • Orphans aged 21 to 30 receive a monthly benefit of 3,651.92 ₪.

  • Orphans aged 30 to 40 receive a monthly benefit of 2,000 ₪

Please note
  • Payment for orphans aged 18–21: The benefit for orphans aged 18–21 is transferred to the widow or widower. Starting at age 21, the payment is transferred directly to the orphan's bank account.

  • No multiple benefits: In the period for which the monthly benefit is received, no additional benefits are provided.

Grant for orphans

The total grant amount is 50,000 ₪, and it will be paid automatically (no need to submit any application) in one of the two following tracks (according to age on the day of publication of the law, February 1, 2026):

First category: Orphans aged 40 to 60

The grant is divided into two installments:

  • First installment: 25,000 ₪ – immediate grant (to be paid until May 1, 2026).

  • Second installment: additional 25,000 ₪ – upon reaching age 60.

Second category: Orphans aged 60 and older

Single payment only: 50,000 ₪ (to be paid by May 1, 2026).

Important note: Eligibility is limited to one category only. If an orphan receives the grant at age 60 or older, he or she will not be eligible for additional payments.

Please note

Orphans who have turned 30 and have not turned 40 on the day of publication of the law (February 1, 2026) will receive a monthly benefit of 2,000 ₪ until they reach the age of 40. Additionally, they will receive the one-time grants upon turning 40 to 60.
