What can you receive?
A widow or widower with children (only the fallen's children) is eligible for a grant for funding extracurricular activities and tuition:
Students in grades 1-6 - grant of 2,153 ₪Last updated on 1.1.2026.
Students in grades 7-10 - grant of 2,538 ₪Last updated on 1.1.2026.
11th-12th grade students - grant of 3,448 ₪Last updated on 1.1.2026.
How to apply?
The grant is provided automatically through the August monthly benefit.
For your attentionA widow or widower recognized after the month of August will receive a proportional part of the grant from the month of recognition until the end of the school year. No application needs to be submitted in this case.
