Birthday Gift for Orphans
Orphans aged 4 to 18 years (inclusive) will receive a birthday gift from the department. A gift is also given to those recognized for commemoration only.

What can you receive?
Orphans will receive a digital voucher to choose a gift worth 150 ₪Last updated on 1.1.2026.
At the age of Bar/Bat-mitzvah (girls at age 12 and boys at age 13), the amount received will be 300 ₪Last updated on 1.1.2026.
How to apply?
The gift is provided automatically via a text message to the parent's mobile phone during the month in which the orphan celebrates the birthday.
A widow or widower will receive a letter signed by the Deputy Director-General and Head of the Department of Families, Commemoration, and Heritage, and a digital voucher.
