A distress signal is a system that allows you to send an alert about an emergency with the press of a button. It helps instill a sense of security and get help quickly when needed. 

What can you receive? 

Participation in funding a subscription for a distress signal, up to a maximum amount of 480 ₪Last updated on 1.1.2026 per year. 

You should know: You can contract any company that provides distress signals and choose the service package that suits you. We will participate in the cost of the service, up to the maximum amount. 

After eligibility is approved, the assistance will automatically renew every year. 

Second loss

For bereaved family members experiencing a second loss, a 200% reimbursement will be provided, but the reimbursement will not exceed the actual expense.

How to apply? 

To receive reimbursement, submit through your account: 

An original receipt or tax invoice in your name, or a certified copy where the original receipt was submitted to a supplementary insurance provider. Alternatively, you can submit a contract or standing order. 

If you are under 65, you must also submit: 
A medical certificate indicating a chronic condition and the need for a distress signal. 

If necessary, we will contact you and request additional documents.

What happens after you submit the application? 

We will respond within 21 business days from the receipt of all required documents. If there is any delay, we will make sure to inform you. 

After eligibility is approved, the assistance will be transferred via the monthly benefits slip.
