Orphans under the age of 21 who require a learning disabilities assessment will receive financial assistance for this purpose, according to the fixed rate

Participation amounts:
Psychoeducational assessment - 2,938 ₪Last updated on 1.1.2026
Educational assessment: Mathematics and English - 1,706 ₪Last updated on 1.1.2026
Diagnosis of attention and concentration disorders - 1,611 ₪Last updated on 1.1.2026
- The assessment will be conducted by specialist licensed psychologists authorized to diagnose learning disabilities.
- For orphans under the age of 21, up to four assessments will be approved.
- For orphans over the age of 21, only one assessment will be approved, provided less than four assessments have been conducted.
How to apply?
For consultation and application for reimbursement, please contact the social worker in the district.
Reimbursement will be provided upon presenting a receipt and a summary of the assessment results.
If learning disabilities are diagnosed
Orphans from 1st grade to 12th grade who have been diagnosed with a learning disability and, according to the diagnostic findings, require remedial lessons - can receive funding for up to 18 hours of remedial education per month.
The lessons will be conducted exclusively by certified remedial teachers, according to the rate set by the department.
Reimbursement will be provided according to the presented receipts only, and subject to presenting the recommendation of the diagnosing professional regarding the recommended number of remedial education hours.
What happens after you apply?
- We will respond within 25 business days from the receipt of all required documents. If there is any delay, we will make sure to inform you.
- After eligibility is approved, the reimbursement will be transferred via the monthly benefits slip.
