What can you receive?

  • If you hold a valid driver's license, you may receive assistance to purchase a private vehicle for personal use once every four years. The assistance is provided through a grant and the option for an additional loan.

  • For families residing abroad, only a grant is available.

  • When replacing a vehicle purchased with the department's assistance, the date of eligibility for replacement will be calculated based on the vehicle's in-service date, as indicated on your vehicle registration.

Before ordering the vehicle, it is recommended to consult a welfare worker in your district regarding the eligibility date and the amount of assistance.

For your attention
  • If the vehicle has been purchased before you received approval from the Department of Families, no assistance is guaranteed.

  • The assistance amount will not exceed the vehicle's cost, meaning no surplus from the assistance amount will remain.

  • If you received assistance for vehicle purchase from another government body in the last 4 years (Ministry of Defense, Rehabilitation Department, National Insurance Institute, etc.), you must exhaust the eligibility with them and send us a confirmation indicating the assistance received. This will allow us to provide additional assistance based on the vehicle's cost.
