The Benefits and Financial Welfare Unit provides financial guidance and assistance to bereaved families. The unit provides its services in a sensitive, accessible, and professional manner, with understanding of the unique needs of the families, and develops diverse solutions for issues raised by the department's districts.
Our responsibilities
Making monthly benefit payments to bereaved families.
Establishing policies regarding the exercise of benefits and eligibilities in each district.
Arranging vocational training for benefits officers in the districts. The officers serve as welfare workers and help bereaved families.
Identifying needs and development of additional services.
Making the information on the exercise of rights accessible to the families.
Adapting work processes to the changing reality.
Handling unique cases and finding solutions within the framework of the law through the statutory exceptions committees.
