Ahead of the annual memorial event, you are eligible for a grant to help you gather for a moment of remembrance, reverence, and tribute to your loved one

What can you receive?

Each year, families receive a grant of 1,109 ₪ to cover the memorial expenses. 

Bereaved parents

The parents receive the amount annually.

In case of a second loss: Families who have lost more than one of their loved ones will receive a grant for each fallen individual.

Widows and widowers

Widows and widowers receive the amount annually.

In case of a second loss: Families who have lost more than one of their loved ones will receive a grant for each fallen individual.

Orphans

In the absence of a surviving spouse, the amount will be transferred to one of the orphans, subject to the consent of all the orphans.

Bereaved siblings

In the absence of parents, the amount will be transferred to one of the siblings, subject to the consent of all the siblings.

Guardians of orphans

Guardians receive the amount annually, until the oldest orphan turns 18.

From the age of 18, the assistance will be transferred directly to the orphan.

How to apply?

The grant is provided automatically and transferred to eligible recipients in the Gregorian month of the fallen's passing, through the monthly benefits.
