Visiting the Fallen's Grave Abroad

We are here to assist bereaved families who live in Israel arrange a visit to the grave of the fallen abroad

What can you receive?

  • Airline tickets
    Tickets must be purchased independently. The reimbursement will be in accordance with the fixed rate in the destination country where the grave of the fallen is located.

  • Transportation
    From the airport and back, and to the cemetery and back - up to 1,500  ₪

  • Hotel
    6 nights in a hotel booked independently, with a participation amount of up to 691.23  ₪ per night, in accordance with receipts.

  • Daily expenses
    For the entire visit, in accordance with the fixed amount - 565  ₪ for the entire stay.

How often can you receive reimbursement?

Bereaved parents, widows and widowers, orphans

Eligible for reimbursement for one memorial visit per calendar year, on one of the following dates:

  • Day of the annual memorial service
  • Memorial Day for Israel's Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Hostile Acts
  • 7th of Adar - Memorial Day for Fallen Soldiers Whose Place of Burial is Unknown.

Bereaved siblings

Eligible for reimbursement for one memorial visit every 5 years, on one of the following dates:

  • Day of the annual memorial service
  • Memorial Day for Israel's Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Hostile Acts
  • 7th of Adar - Memorial Day for Fallen Soldiers Whose Place of Burial is Unknown.
In cases of a second loss

Families who have lost more than one of their loved ones will receive assistance for each fallen individual.
