How often do meetings take place?
Bereaved parents, widows and widowers
The accompaniment is provided from the moment of loss and throughout life, according to the family's wishes and needs. For the elderly population, a home visit will be initiated once every two years as part of the district program of maintaining contact. During each such visit, our staff will assess how we can help you. If assistance is needed outside of this timeframe, you can contact the department's district office closest to you through the call center or through your account.
Fiancées and fiancés
Accompaniment is provided for 10 years, starting from the moment of loss. During this period, you can contact the department's district office closest to you through the call center or through your account.
Siblings, orphans
Accompaniment is provided from the moment of loss and throughout life, according to your wishes and needs. To receive assistance, you can contact the social worker. You can contact the department's district office to which you are assigned through the call center or through your account.
Guardians of orphans
Accompaniment is provided from the moment of loss until the youngest orphan reaches the age of 21, according to the family's wishes and needs.
