Who is this page for?
    Bereaved Parents
    Widows and Widowers
    Orphans

What can you receive?

Property tax discount provided according to the Local Authorities Law.

Every year in November, the Department of Families submits the list of eligible individuals to local authorities across the country, based on their listed address in the department. This list determines the property tax discount granted in January.

For your attention

A welfare worker can issue a recognition certificate even when a family member resides in an institution or abroad. In such cases, the discount will be granted at the discretion of the local authority.

How to apply?

The discount is updated automatically every year.

If you did not receive the discount automatically, or if you moved to a different local authority, you must contact a welfare worker to obtain a certificate of recognition as a bereaved family and submit it to the local authority. When moving, you must also include a certificate indicating the end of the discount period in the previous local authority.
